A -
THE HOLDEN HIGH COUNTRY CYCLE
CHALLENGE
Three exciting stages of cycling over two days with an overnight
stopover on
Mt Buller.
Stage One 9.00am Saturday 28 February 2009 - 58km
A series of two loops around and through Mansfield. Fast, flat group
riding designed to get the legs ready for the afternoon assault on
Mt Buller. |

Stage Two 12.30pm Saturday 28 February 2009 - 50km
Mansfield to Mt Buller Alpine Village. Race for prizes
or go at your own pace. It's the ultimate buzz! Look for
the Holden arch at the finish. |

Stage Three 7.00am - 9.00am Sunday 1 March 2009 - 123km
Mt Buller to Mansfield via Jamieson. The Mt Buller
Tourist Road between the village and the resort gate
will be closed to cars between 7am and 9am for your safe
descent. Exhilarating! |

B - THE TORQ MT BULLER CHALLENGE
Three exciting stages of cycling
over two days, designed for those who would like to take
in the fabulous views and experience the freedom and
challenges of cycling in the High Country at a more
leisurely pace. Stage One 9.00am Saturday 28 February 2009 - 36km
Warm up with a leisurely ride north of Mansfield
designed to warm up the legs and prepare you for the
challenges of the afternoon. Enjoy a long lunch! |

Mansfield to Mt Buller Alpine Village. Better start
training now! We will have several sag wagons to collect
those that find the climb too tough. This challenge is
achievable with the right training and preparation. Good

Stage Three 7.00am - 9.00am Sunday 1 March 2009 - 50km
Mt Buller Tourist Road will be closed to cars between
7am and 9am. So enjoy the freedom of the mountain
descent and ride back to Mansfield for great coffee and
a well-earned morning tea. Exhilarating! |

OPTION C - SCODY 60K CHALLENGE
9.00am Saturday 28 February 2009 - 58km
Starting at 9am, entrants will ride a series of two loops around and through Mansfield. Take your time … call in for a coffee on your way through Mansfield. Stop and take a photo of the great views to Mt Buller in the distance! Enjoy the challenge without the pressure. One-day ride. |

CYCLECOVER BULLER & BACK IN A DAY
9.00am Sunday 1 March 2009 - 100km
An exciting and challenging ride from Mansfield to the
Mt. Buller village and return. If you have been Around
the Bay then make this your next challenge. We will help
you with a training schedule and tips on bike set up.
It’s only half as far as Around the Bay but just as much
fun! |
