TEAMS / FUNDRAISING
Spend a day or two in heaven … and ride like hell!
Pedal like demons … raise money like angels!
The Mt Buller Corporate Cup is an opportunity for your company to make a significant impression during the HHCCC. It offers your organisation the chance to build a healthy, active team environment in your workplace as part of one of Australia's greatest cycling challenges.
All teams will be raising money for The Cancer Council Victoria. So while your clocking up the k's and raising awareness of your business, you'll be raising money for a very worthy cause.• Promote your workplace as an employer of choice and promote your image as a good corporate citizen
• Promote your workplace as an employer of choice and promote your image as a good corporate citizen
• Stand out among your competitors as your employees enjoy the fun and challenge of being involved in the Mt Buller Corporate Cup
• View your logo on www.hhccc.com.au web page - which received over 150,000 hits leading up to the 2008 event.
• Show off your corporate identity by producing your own custom cycling kit for your team to wear (visit www.scody.com.au to order your own teamwear!)
• Develop relationships and strengthen communication across all divisions of the company
• Encourage your employees to pursue a healthy lifestyle

• Promote job satisfaction
• Organise accommodation for all your team in the one lodge on Mt Buller for the weekend

Each Mt Buller Corporate Cup entrant will have $3 donated to The Cancer Council Victoria on their behalf by Bikevents Australia. Each rider will be worth 30 points to your team's Corporate Cup total.
Each extra dollar your team is able to raise, and then donate directly to The Cancer Council Victoria, will be worth an extra point to your team total. The team with the highest total wins the Mt Buller Corporate Cup.

Please note:
to be eligible to win the Mt Buller Corporate Cup, your team must donate money directly to The Cancer Council Victoria. Donation totals need to be received by CCV by Wednesday 25 February, 2009. If CCV tells Bruce you didn't donate any money to them, you can't win the cup!

THE PETER DIPLOCK APPEAL
(Mansfield District Hospital)
In loving memory of Peter Diplock
01/12/1930 - 17/06/2006

(INSERT  RIGHT Pete and his beloved little mate Bentley enjoying lunch in the sun.)

Peter Diplock was not a cyclist. Being a true English gent, his first sporting love was the Chelsea Football Club.

But as he advanced through his 60's and into his 70's, and with the higher profile of cycling in such events as Le Tour de France on SBS, he rapidly became an armchair expert on cycling.

Just before the 2006 Tour began, Peter died suddenly from Leukemia. His deep and meaningful discussions about Lance Armstrong and his challengers over a glass of red wine will be sorely missed by many of us in Mansfield.

Peter's daughter Jane instigated the Peter Diplock Appeal for equipment at the Mansfield District Hospital in memory of her father. At a memorial service held in Mansfield on the 1st of July 2006 (the day the 2006 Tour de France began) $1000 was raised in Peter's memory.

We genuinely hope you can help add to that total and enable the Mansfield District Hospital to buy the ECG monitor (a monitor that measures pulse, heart rate, blood pressure and oxygen levels in the blood stream) for the Accident and Emergency Department that it so desperately needs.

Hopefully you won't need the monitor but you just never know ...

Bikevents Australia will donate $3 on your behalf for your 'individual' entry.

Please feel free to add to this amount. Donations over $2 direct to Mansfield District Hospital are tax deductible.
